Tri Guard Tip Protector

Endoscope tip protector: Protects the tip of the endoscope against damage reducing costly repairs.

Following the endoscope disinfection process, a clean Tri-Guard is placed onto the distal end of the endoscope using one of the two tip protector ports. The larger port protects most standard GI endoscopes, endoscopic ultrasound probes, ERCP and enteroscopes. The smaller port protects small diameter endoscopes such as bronchoscopes and intubation and ENT endoscopes. The endoscope is now ready for storage or transfer. The Tri-Guard should be kept in place until the procedure is about to begin.

White balance: 'White balance' the endoscope prior to the procedure.

Prior to beginning the endoscopic procedure, pinch the end of the Tri-Guard and push the ‘white balance’ button on the power source. Upon completion of the procedure, replace the Tri-Guard onto the endoscope tip as in Step 1 to protect the endoscope during transport to the wash room.

Endoscope sponge: Use to safely wash the endoscope during reprocessing.

The Tri-Guard central core can be used to wash the endoscope sheath and all external features using appropriate cleaning solutions.

Single Use Only. Non-Sterile. US Patent Pending.
